Client Partner Healthcare
Based at our Harpenden studios, this is ideally a full-time permanent role, although part-time will be considered.
We’re looking for an experienced and proven professional with a medical or healthcare communications background, to join our thriving agency’s Client Services Team. If you’re a confident, strategic, thinker who’s great at overseeing campaigns and who is outstanding at developing client relationships, then this could be the role for you.
Key responsibilities:
As a Client Partner, you will play a key, senior, role within our Client Services Team. Reporting to the Client Services Director, you will use your strategic, leadership, and people skills, together with your healthcare expertise to:
- Give strategic input into major project briefs and campaigns across our medical and healthcare clients
- Develop key stakeholder relationships and facilitate the growth of our agency by growing our income stream with existing clients
- Work closely with the Client Services Director in proactively seeking new business opportunities
- Be actively involved in winning new business, writing, and working with the creative team to deliver first-class presentations and proposals
- Being responsive to client needs and managing client expectations in accordance with our Gripping Principles and client agreements
- Work closely with our Project Team Leader to ensure we are a high-performing agency that delivers on the promises we make our clients
- Whilst the day-to-day line management of the project team is the responsibility of our Project Team Leader, you will be looked upon for guiding, inspiring, and nurturing the team
- Provide input into team members’ annual performance reviews and objective-setting, and support the Client Services Director in identifying professional development and, where necessary, performance management
- Prepare a monthly Directors’ Client SWOT report
- Support the Client Services Director with resourcing and budgeting
Required skills and experience:
- At least three years experience in a senior, strategic, role, preferably within a creative or marketing environment
- Proven track record in developing client portfolios and income streams, with an aptitude for fostering and growing long-term relationships
- A strategic, problem-solving, mindset – you look beyond the obvious
- An excellent communicator with strong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Good writing skills and an aptitude for supporting insightful, purposeful, creative
- Commercially savvy – you understand business priorities, finances, and are aware of what’s going on in our client, and agency, sectors
- Good mentoring skills with experience of performance management and personnel evaluation
- A positive approach to collaboration, with an inquisitive mind and the confidence to challenge
