Combining values and reimagining brands

Hightown

Brand design, brand communication, animation

Problem

Hightown is a well-known charitable housing association operating across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Providing housing services for families and vulnerable groups of people. They had the conundrum of creating a new logo and brand which encompassed three different sub-brands.

Approach

To understand what made Hightown different we decided to immerse ourselves in the world of Hightown and it’s sub-brands through meetings, interviews and workshops.

The Hightown team were passionate about what they were doing in housing vulnerable groups of people and families. We wanted to capture this passion in the new refreshed branding.

The team at Gosling helped us to successfully navigate the potential pitfalls associated with rebranding. The resulting brand guidelines are a joy to work with.

Summary

Hightown now has a unified brand which both captures the passion of the people working there and all of the different departments within the company. The new brand is playful and modern while not throwing away the old branding.

We’re thrilled to have tackled this work as Hightown a real difference maker to many people in South-East and we can’t wait to see what they do next.
