Perform is a specialist area of Spire Healthcare dedicated to sports science, medicine and rehabilitation. Operating in six areas of the country, Perform works with a wide range of people, from those recovering from injury to elite athletes.
Spire approached Gosling to brand this proposition and make its offer stand-out. The name Perform already provided some clarity, however Spire used our design and communication skills to create a brand identity and presence.
Avoiding clichéd sports activity representation, we got to the core of the offering, measured performance and improvement, using the ECG heart monitor as the starting point for designing the brand identity.
Originally Perform was envisaged as a service within Spire Healthcare’s hospitals, but winning the contract to be the official healthcare partner at the FA’s new home of English football, St. George’s Park, took the project to a whole new level and launched the brand on a national stage.
As well as designing print communications – a branded corporate brochure for the St George’s Park initiative – we designed signage and large format wall graphics for the facility, which tell a visual story supported by statistics and facts from the world of sport.
