You may have noticed over on the Gosling Instagram that we’ve been sharing some typographic treats designed by our studio team. We have had such a positive response to each of our submissions. Thanks guys!

Annually 36 days of type invite Designers, Illustrators and Graphic Artists to get involved with their daily typographic or numeric challenges. Their Instagram provides a space for typographic exploration and experimental design. It celebrates the creativity of the participants and our collective ability to represent the same symbol from many different perspectives.

Typography is fundamental to our daily thought. As brand and communication designers we use type to position brands and products and to tell their stories as much as we use consideration of layout and messaging. Taking a personal look at each symbol, using it to explore different techniques and getting a public reaction is having a lovely impact on the studio design team.

If you’re following the ever-evolving 36 days of type feed then you may have spotted one of our featured entries amongst the letterforms. We are particularly fond of the 3D entry created by our designer, Hieran, titled ‘I is for Imagination.’ Be sure to follow the project for more updates, you won’t be disappointed.
